Summer flowers may fade and die, so join us for a fun-filled, relaxed, Weave a Willow Floser Workshop and weave a decorative willow flower sculpture that will add beauty and interest to your garden or home throughout the seasons 🌺

The workshop is on

Sunday, 25th August 2024 @ 2-5pm

You will spend the afternoon with local crafter, Heather McDermott, using sustainable willow grown in our own Saille Garden to create your willow flower.

Heather will guide you through the various traditional basketry techniques required to create a large willow flower for your garden or for you to give as a gift.

Our willow flower workshop is aimed at beginners or those with some experience.

Bring a partner or a friend for a memorable afternoon

A walk to the Saille garden – weather permitting
Homemade cream scones and traybakes for your afternoon teabreak

Finding us

Helen’s Bay is accessed via the A2 Belfast/Bangor carriageway, following directional signage.

Helen’s Bay turn off is located before the Crawfordsburn left hand turn off (if travelling from Belfast direction) or after the Crawfordsburn right hand turn off ( if travelling from Bangor direction).

Drive down the Craigdarragh Road for 0.8 miles. You will see the Walled Garden on your left.

Take the left hand turn at the 30mph spped limit signage , before the railway bridge, down our temproary stoned driveway and park

Turn left out of the car park and walk up the laneway

Old Mill House will be the 1st entrance on the right.
