Join us for a fun, relaxed, Weave a Willow Reindeer Head Workshop in the Walled Garden, to add a rustic touch of seasonal charm to your home or garden… just in time for Christmas! 🌲🎅🦌

The workshop is on
Saturday, 30 th November 10am – 3.30pm

You will spend the day with experienced local willow artist, Heather McDermott, and her assistant Naomi, who will guide you through the various traditional willow weaves, and practical processes involved using homegrown, sustainable, willow from our Saillie garden

Decorate your reindeer with LED lights tinsel, baubles or use natural elements like ivy and berries for a more natural look. You can then restyle your reindeer head for all-year-round use! Remember a reindeer head is not just for Christmas!! 😂🦌

This workshop is perfect for beginners and seasoned crafters alike.
While no prior experience is needed, some manual dexterity and strength is required to work with the willow.

Whether you come with friends, family, colleagues, or on your own, you’re sure to enjoy our festive weave a willow reindeer head experience.

Tickets are £85 per person

Finding us

• Helen’s Bay is accessed via the A2 Belfast/Bangor carriageway, following signs for Helen’s Bay.
• Drive down the Craigdarragh Road for 0.8 miles. You will see the Walled Garden on your left.
• Take the left hand turn at the 30mph speed limit sign, before the railway bridge.
• Drive down our temporary stoned driveway, into the car park
• Follow the signs to the workshop
